Codat partner with financial service providers to make life easier for small businesses. We worked with Codat to define who they are, their target audience, and the objectives of the brand and website refresh.
With offices in London and New York, Codat handle the heavy lifting of financial software integration, leaving small business clients free to focus on how customer data can improve their product or service. We worked alongside the Codat marketing team to evolve the brand identity for Codat. The new identity is now simple, flexible and recognisable through a distinctive colour palette. The brand system we came up with was designed to work across a variety of uses and situations including website, animation and print marketing.
To better communicate Codat’s product portfolio we created an isometric illustration style to bring their software to life in a more visually appealing manner. The illustration was transformed into an animation and was rolled out across the website. We commissioned and art-directed a photoshoot with our photography partner Curious Rose to better convey the personality of Codat’s London team.
Working in parallel to the Codat product team we helped devise a new product design system. We crafted a collection of repeatable colours, components, standards and structure for future internal use.
Font formatting and styling can have a big impact on how accessible your brand and website is. Some fonts are easier to read than others and if chosen well, the right font can really help you get the message across. We came up with a new parent font for the business – a san-serif font choice, such as Axiforma – making text across digital and print easier to read.
The launch of the new website and brand in January 2020 was very positively received and we are proud to continue working with Codat on an ongoing basis.
